I visited Mama Lou's this weekend! The food was OFF DA CHAIN and the restaurant was exactly like you described it.

Actually, I drove right past the place  my first go around because I wasn't sure where exactly on 35th I'd find it.  When I doubled back, I located the entranceway to the parking area at the back off Indiana.  That's something we should remind visitors who aren't familiar with the spot.  I was surprised to learn she had been open for 2 years already.  The food was simply marvelous. We chatted for abit while my catfish was getting prepared.  The proprietor is so sweet!  She was so glad for your advertisement. Because of your list service, she's received new customers.  Not to mention those I'm talking up her spot to who live in our general (Bronzeville, Hyde Park and South Shore areas).

Thanks for the referral, Mike!  I very much appreciated it.

Yours truly,

Ms. Lynda Holiday Lawrence
